Who we are

This website is run by Liverpool Head & Neck Ultrasound Ltd (“we”, “us”), registered in England and Wales, company number 16938491. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us at livhnus@gmail.com.

What this website does

This website is a static website. It has no user accounts and does not itself collect or store what you type into forms. It does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and its fonts are served from the site itself. The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, and as with any web host, GitHub may process technical information such as IP addresses when pages are requested. See GitHub’s privacy statement for details.

Information we collect

• Registration form: the details you enter, such as your name, email address, specialty, clinical role and message or registration request.
• Feedback form (when available): your feedback and any name, role or affiliation you choose to give.
• Email: your email address and the content of messages you send us.

Forms are provided by Google Forms. We do not collect card or bank details through this website. Our team will guide you through the payment process after you register.

How we use your information

• To process your booking, manage course places and arrange payment.
• To contact you about the course, such as joining details and updates.
• To issue attendance certificates and CPD records after you complete the course evaluation.
• To answer your questions.
• To keep records we are legally required to keep, such as accounts.
• To publish your feedback as a testimonial, only with your permission.

Our legal bases

• Contract: to process your booking and provide the course.
• Legitimate interests: to answer enquiries and run the course effectively.
• Legal obligation: to meet accounting and other legal requirements.
• Consent: to publish your testimonial. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run bookings and communications, such as Google (forms and email), and where the law requires. Some providers may process information outside the UK, under the safeguards set out in their own terms.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including course administration, certificate and CPD records, and accounting and legal requirements.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies of its own. When a Google Form is shown on a page, Google may set cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal information, including to access it, correct it, have it erased, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy in a portable format.
