Dr Gaj Sharma
Course Director · Consultant Radiologist (H&N)
Dr Gaj Sharma is a consultant radiologist at Aintree University Hospital (NHS University Hospitals of Liverpool Group). He completed his radiology training at the Mersey School of Radiology, followed by a Head & Neck imaging fellowship. His areas of subspecialty interest are Head & Neck imaging and Urology.
Dr Sharma is chair of the regional Skull Base MDT and also enjoys a leadership role, currently serving as Care Group Clinical Director for Radiology at Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust, UHLG.
Dr Sharma is passionate about teaching and training and regularly delivers teaching for radiology trainees and allied healthcare professionals. He has served as Associate Training Programme Director, Clinical Radiology for the North West (HEENW), and has regularly been involved in teaching, including for the FRCR exam.
